Impact Wrestling kicks off with a video infectious us up to speed on the Hulk Hogan retirement essay and Sting exposing it as a farce.
TNA champion Kurt Angle comes to the encompass in street clothes and calls out Bobby Roode, saying he wanted to have one last talk before their moment of truth on Sunday. Roode obliged and made his way to the ring. It’s comical how much better the show visually looks outside of Orlando.
Angle told Roode that a month ago, he worn his stroke to book Roode against Fortune to commence him mentally and physically but Roode passed with flying colors. Angle said that he’s not a fellow of Fortune, but Kurt Angle the greatest wrestler to ever lace up a doublet of boots. Angle said that beating Fortune was awe-inspiring, rattling off his own accomplishments as a champion wrestler. He said that for the last five years, he’s dominated TNA with no cure and proves he’s the best every night he’s in the ring. He promised that at Fated for Glory, he would prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that he’s the greatest wrestler of all on one occasion.

Hogan buries Roode at PPV

--According to some reports the exterminate in the Bound for Glory main event between Kurt Angle and Bobby Roode was reputed to end with Roode going over. Last minute changes allegedly initiated by Clod Hogan kept the belt on Angle much to the chagrin of the locker dwelling. Hogan had buried Roode in interviews the week previous to the PPV saying that Roode was not a top level guy and that James Wind-storm should get a push instead. The comments also led to a war of words between Hogan and AJ Styles who took shots at one another via Chirrup that included Hogan calling Styles a jabroni. It is dream that Roode will eventually get the belt but may be a transitional victor.
--Both Kurt Angle and Hulk Hogan were said to be hurting considerably after their relevant matches on Sunday. Angle was said to have needed ease while in the back due to a hamstring injury for which he will be out for a couple of weeks.
--Hogan and Cheat may be tagging in the future and could be in a tag match against Ric Flair and a sidekick.
