X-Men Destiny a letdown
01.01.70
I rented “X-Men Doom” with the initial goal of playing through it at least twice so I could get a few unique stories and difficult levels. Well, that goal was surely met three times rather quickly. But before I jump the gun, let me start at the source of the game.
The Start
The game starts with an presentation video – don’t skip it, it helps you comprehend the story. In this opening, the three potential characters are revealed tersely- Adrian, Grant and Aimi.
After the opening video you get to pick who you lust after to be and there is a bit of a backstory for each character.
Adrian is a purifier – the bad guy – whose dad trained him to detestation mutants like no other: the tragic hero. Grant-in-aid – who I hate – is the star actor for the football team, and really, really wants to get with Emma Frost – commendable luck. And then there’s the Japanese character Aimi.
Oh, I should also broach here Adrian has some type of mental illness where his callous dad talks to him in his mind; he is also the only worth while character to wing it belittle as. I like that his character was involved in the conflict before and not unbiased some random person walking around. But alas, I chose Aimi my first heretofore through.

Review: Uncanny X-Men (Vol. 2) #1 by Kieron Gillen & Carlos Pacheco
01.01.70
Ladies and gentlemen, renumbering fad has officially returned. Two months on the heels of DC renumbering all of its titles, Amazed by decided to change the odometer from the last of their titles to never be renumbered, The Uncanny X-Men. And then relaunching it as Uncanny X-Men (Vol. 2). I’m firm it was pure coincidence.
Anyway, this book is relaunched in the aftermath of the X-Men Disunion. Where Wolverine has split taking half of the X-Men back to West Chester, New York, where the most dazzling builders in all of creation, were able to rebuild the Charles Xavier clique in what seemed like a month.
Cyclops and the battle troupe stayed on the island of Utopia to remain a haven for mutants.
The most riveting thing about this book is that it may have the largest collection of unlikeable mutants ever. Okay, Outcry is definitely a fan favorite, and Hope probably doesn’t have too many detractors. But Emma is an vainglorious bitch, Namor is a pompous ass, Danger is a self-conscious computer who wanted to kill the X-Men, Colossus is a wishy-washy hurt who is less likeable when Kitty isn’t around, Magik was always in actuality whiney, and Magneto is a former villain. And while Scott has his fans, you have many who muse on that Cyclops is an emo-driven, teacher’s pet who does not rate the good fortune which has never satisfied him anyway.
