Garbage build-up adds to Bangkok's woes

(CNN) -- As Thailand continues to clash its worst floods in 50 years, a civil analyst involved in the relief effort predicted that streets in the funds would remain flooded for at least two weeks.

"The best-wrapper scenario, two weeks, or one month at its worst crate," Sean Boonprakong told CNN. In all, 255 pumps were being old to drain the water, he said, crediting their toil for sparing much of inner Bangkok from the floodwaters.
