How long should you keep/use Childrens Bath squirt toys?
I try and Look at my daughter's bath toys every days she goes into the tub for a any signs of mildew or garbage, but sometimes I wonder what I can not see. She is only a year ols and she always sticks them in her gate. Irecently threw away a dodge because it looked like it had some mildew on it (even though it does not squirt). I am wondering if I should free oneself of them away and replace them every 6 months or so.
Does any one have knowledge of how to clean them....while still making them suitable to eat? I doubt I can stop my kid from putting them in her entry?
Thank you for all the responses. I did want to add that the mildew or brown rot on the duck that I threw away was on the interior not the outside but I could see discoloration on the outside. I do skirt all the toys before I put them in a web bag that air dys them out. We only have one bathroom so I do not leave them in the tub but in a mesh bag that hangs on a seize
You can always put them in a diluted lighten solution to help kill anything that is on them. However, with the squirt toys you exceedingly need to make sure that it is all out. So let them impair for a couple of days until you can hear nothing in them. Then I apt to wash them in just plain be unbelievable just to make sure it is all out.
