Can dust mites live and reproduce in interlocking foam mats?
My babe in arms is allergic to dust mites. I'm all things to buy interlocking foam mats (like exercise mat) to cover the hardwood flooring for cushioning. I'm wondering if dust mites can persist and reproduce in these mats? Please advise. Thank you.
No, they mainly do not live in foam. They like down the most so down is a big no no. But you should be fine with foam.
Nothing on the planet is active to be 100% mite free. At this very import you have tiny mites crawling all over you and all over your rest-home. You can't totally avoid them but having wood floors and foam mats will absotively-posolutely help!
