So I deem I’ve mentioned before that my daughter is, well, an eccentric class of dresser. I mean she’s three and is under the impression that she is incredibly competent and a smart dresser to boot.
She is a smart dresser. Smarter than most maybe. I equitable might not pick the polka dot tights with the striped dress, puffy sweater and sparkly princess shoes.
But then again I’m 29 and holding and not three, so they as likely as not don’t make that stuff in my size anyway and I undoubtedly wouldn’t wear it, my wardrobe being a brush on the conservative side. I do envy her sparkly pink shoes though.
And don’t get me unjust. I am proud that my young girl is able to disclose herself with such flare and individuality.
I digress. So my fabulously eccentrically dressed three-year-old who loves to pick out her own clothes and survive them in new and interesting and dazzling combinations every day is also quite the budding minstrel.
Mind you, the monkey is more of a closet singer. And by closet vocalist I mean: 1: She won’t really chirp in front of us and 2: sometimes she hides near or in her closet and sings.
