I need ideas for my sons 2nd grade geometric (shapes) school project ?
It needs to be on nothing bigger then a 2*2 walk-up board, and needs at least 10 rectangular prisms, 7 spheres, 4 cubes, 6 cones, 8 cylenders, 2 reg pyramids. Some ideas confirmed to us are ones i dont want to use like automaton, amusement park, classroom, ancestry, castle, zoo, park. It needs to be a scence that is tough and can add other objects (flowers, rocks, trees, leaves, toy animals) and will be graded on creativity, neatness, genuine use of shapes.
Why not let your son on something he is interested in - you say that "you" don't shortage to use some things, but what about him? It is his project. Parents who take over their children's vocation are not helping them.
