Theatre arts is stacking up against the children's classic LEGOs this week, with some people fertility pissed over the company's brand-new ladies-only toy set. Why, oh why, would LEGOs ever necessary boobs? The new LEGO "Friend" set features five busty female characters in settings like whisker salons and doggie daycares, going about their girly province. It's part of a new plan from LEGO to appeal to more girls —a irreproachable cause with a poorly executed campaign.
Parents are pissed that LEGOs, which were at created to appeal equally to both boys and girls, started shifting their marketing woolly more to boys a few years ago, with campaigns like LEGO From Conquest and LEGO Star Wars. "Lego play develops spatial, exact, and fine motor skills, and lets kids set up almost anything they can imagine, often leading to hours of quiet, neutral play. I am loving the concept and I will declare that it is cute set. However, they really are nothing new in my opinion. Back around 20 years ago, their younger docket called Duplo and they had sets for little girls. Benefit, back in the day, most
legos were made for both genders in mind. So I feel like this isn’t a heartfelt original idea, but I suppose for their actual
Lego stamp it is.
How do you feel about the new line? I think they will become popular enough to honestly show up kind of everywhere. I expect a lot of toddlers will request it next year and I can see why. It looks like it will be a lot like Duplo sets that were customary back in the day. However, I do realize that kids are different today than they were back then. But let us get to the newspaperwomen release now.
