PALM Seaboard -- Dmitriy Tesler's remote-controlled model planes have been cleared for takeoff at big apple parks in Palm Coast.
Model cars and boats can oddity up their motors as well after the Palm Coast City Meeting recently deleted a section of its ordinances that had banned the member of the firm of such remote-controlled models at city parks.
Tesler, a Palm Seashore resident, said that even before the change he had been flying scanty model planes at Belle Terre Park penurious Frieda Zamba Pool. Tesler said his disseminate-controlled planes often draw children and adults who like to lookout the aerial acrobatics of spins, loops and rolls.
"Mostly I attract some people, they like watching it," Tesler said. "Almost always if I go to a park I bring planes. They are called car park fliers. It's designed to fly in a park. It shouldn't be illegitimate."
Not all cities and counties are friendly to radio-controlled planes, cars and boats. Although it has no ordinance on the culmination, Volusia County does not allow far-fetched-controlled model planes, boats and cars in its parks, said county spokeswoman Pat Kuehn. Volusia County also bans model rockets, as does Palm Beach.
