But an ambience of grumbling has emerged that can be summed up in two words: too high-priced.
Terra Gouge of Lake Wales said she and her husband, Eric Extort, probably won't be taking their children, ages 3 and 4, to Legoland because of the payment.
"It's not like we don't want to try it; it's just the money," said Skin, 40.
"It's pretty comparable (in cost) to Disney lately for one day, and obviously there's not as much to do. So just for the value we would get for our money, it unprejudiced wouldn't be worth it."
Regular single-day entr prices to Legoland Florida are $75 return tax for adults and $65 plus tax for children ages 3 through 12 and for seniors.
That puts ticket prices within $15 or so of those for the Walt Disney Far-out parks, which are vaster and have longer daily operating hours. Legoland also charges $12 for parking.
So: Is Legoland Florida advantage the price?
