Spooky Zoo at Roger Williams Parking-lot Zoo - Providence 

Roger Williams Reservation Zoo has trick-or-treating, live music, and other seasonal exhibition during Halloweekend. With pumpkin carving demonstrations, games, petting zoos, notable pumpkin treats, and more it’s the perfect daytime experience to enjoy the crisp air and foliage. Kids age 12 and under who catch in costume receive half-priced access. Location: Roger Williams Park Zoo, 1000 Elmwood Avenue. Halloween Events at Preparation Children's Museum – Providence

If you like a scant bit of learning with your Halloween activities, the Providence Children’s Museum is where it’s at. Thursday and Friday, the Spooky Studio has slime to conduct oneself with, dress-up, and creature creation plus more in the museum’s new information and art exploration space, the Discovery Studio. And on Saturday, the Boo Bash features lots of humorous games, hands-on themed arts and crafts, and a mad scientist’s laboratory. Costumes welcomed.  Position: 100 South Street.
