This is the second Mystic Masquerade and, because of its good fortune last year, it will become an annual fundraising event presented by SMH Fundamental. Tickets still are available at $75 per person or $1,000 for a catalogue of eight with sponsorship recognition.

One of the highlights this year is a understood auction featuring more than 30 masks, each uniquely decorated by neighbouring artists. Additionally, there will be wine baskets, overnight stays in New Orleans, capability certificates and more. To add to the fun, patrons can capture a record of the costumes and masks at a photo stand.
Local restaurateurs will be serving a cornucopia of treats including: Copeland’s, present Shrimp Orleans over cheesy grits; Italian Pie, providing chicken wings and spinach/artichoke dip; Habano’s Wine Basement, creating a variety of hot paninis on-site; Sunrise

Spooky Zoo Spectacular: Lincoln Estate Zoo likes to celebrate all things scary, but this year with a flourishing twist. But there still will be the activities people have come to admiration over the past 25 years. Compare your costumes to the regional critters as you trick or treat around the zoo. Then a “Monstercise” seating led by The Biggest Loser Season 5 at-home champion Bernie Salazar. As always, Lincoln Park Zoo and Spooky Zoo Spectacular are Natural to the public.
