The iconic white polka-dot put on one's Sunday best clothes worn on the cover of "Back To Black", the multi-million selling Platinum album by the modern great Amy Winehouse went under the hammer in aid of the Amy Winehouse Endowment today. It exceeded all expectations selling for four times the guesstimate at £43,200. After the photo-shoot the dress was returned to the author and carefully stored in the Disaya archive. The album went on to deliver up over 3.2 million copies. In the light of Amy's untimely end Disaya has decided that rather than keep the dress stored away, that it should be sold and the readies raised used by the Amy Winehouse Foundation to forward young people in need in the UK and overseas.
