Three magical museums recollection classic movies typically broadcast this at the same time of year - that most wonderful time "around which the entire kid-year revolves": Christmas. A Christmas Plot outline House and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio; the Oz Museum in Wamego, Kan.; and the Jimmy Stewart Museum in Indiana, Pa. Each museum evokes a drift of nostalgia and possibility, making them especially fascinating places to visit during the holiday season.

A pilgrimage to the Christmas Tale House and Museum is an absolute must for fans of the 1983 event movie classic, "A Christmas Story," based on the publication "In God We Trust, All Others Pay Cash" and script penned by prime mover and humorist Jean Shepherd. Although the setting was a unreal town in Indiana, the house is actually located five minutes from downtown Cleveland in the Tremont neighborhood where a works backdrop lends a touch of authenticity. Thanks to wonderful fan Brian Jones, the house today looks justifiable as it did when the Parker family celebrated what is arguably one of the most well-known Christmases in narration.

10 Halloween Costume Ideas Based on Recent Movies (2011 Edition)

Gratifying to Spout’s 4th annual list of Halloween garments ideas based on recent movies. The whole concept behind this favorite unwritten law of mine is to come up with original film-related costumes that nobody else is probable to think of. Because you don’t want to be the third Thor at a fete or an anonymous one of a slew of bridesmaids wandering the neighborhood. You covet something unique.

Most of these ideas aren’t meant to be entranced seriously. However, not all are exactly ill-advised, either. In the past I’ve included the brief conversation “unlikely” in the headline to describe suggestions like “Fascinating Nazi” (from “The Reader”) and “Anatomically Done Dr. Manhattan” (from “Watchmen”), but I’ve been more interested in concepts that are doable even if unrealistic. So, I permit you to steal any of them so long as you send me a photo of the conclusion. Or, if you just want to link me to a pic of your own original movie-interconnected costume, I’d love to see what other ideas are out there.
