Pink Heals fire truck stops in Charlotte
10.10.11
Consultation traveled through Facebook, texts, emails and phone calls to let people be familiar with a truck from the Pink Heals Tour was in borough.
Signing one of the pink fire trucks is one way to support women and arouse awareness of breast cancer.
Christopher Butler signed the rubbish in honor of his sister Debbie White, a survivor of bust cancer.
Danielle Defond signed in respect of a friend who lost the battle with cancer.
Totally signing "Grandma Charlotte," Danny West, a firefighter at Depot No. 1 in Port Charlotte, wrote on the traffic to honor his wife Casey's mother.
For Carolyn Brenner, signing her name right next to the name of the junk — which also happened to be Carolyn — had particular meaning. A two-year cancer survivor, Brenner simply had a CT Pet screening, "and all was clear," she said.
Tour shirts in pink and bad were bought up quickly by those who "Care Enough to Wear Pink." As one survivor, Linda Wilson, popular, the shirts and the trucks serve as a "reminder to everyone to get their mammograms."

We're all Weiners! New mask lets you be Anthony!
10.10.11
Ricky’s Get-up Superstore is offering a look-alike Weiner cloak for $24.99, putting the rep who stepped down after getting caught sending frightful images of himself to women he met on the Internet earlier this year, on par with presidents, governors, first ladies, and patriots that have had the honor — or dishonor — of having imitation molded into their likeness so that revelers can become them on All Hallow’s Eve, or when they rob banks .
The Weiner guise is being paired with a “Just Hanging Around” garb, which features a white, tank-top undershirt and a pair of boxer shorts with a span of plastic unmentionalbes peeking out from the left long leg.
“We just got the masks about two days ago, but it’s getting a lot of notice,” said Dominick Costello, president of Ricky’s NYC, who plan the mask could actually help the pol. “Perchance it will draw more attention to him and he’ll get his own TV show, like Eliot Spitzer.”
