Barbie dolls that have stirred up controversy

The disagreement around the Bald Barbie continues. Story goes two women who bonded over tresses loss launched a social media effort in December urging Mattel to make a bald Barbie to concede the young girls who suffer from diseases that can female lead them to lose their hair.

Most recently, Andrew Becker, a principal of media relations for the American Cancer Society (ACS), caused a stir after publishing a blog work on the ACS’s website titled  ”Bald Barbie Necessitate Is an Over-Reach.” Becker wrote that the Bald Barbie decline could “do more harm than good for kids and parents.”

The appoint was immediately met with ire from Bald Barbie campaign supporters who posted cheesed off messages on the ACS website demanding that Becker be fired, according to ABC Expos .

Becker didn’t lose his job but he did come the blog post and replaced it with an apology: “When I set out to communicate with, I wanted to raise questions about activism and group media around disease. I did not mean to imply that I or the American Cancer Community believes that sick children are not important.”
