How can I remove a doll's scent?

I have a Berenguer coddle doll with vinyl head, arms, and legs. The doll has a very unflagging baby powder or rose distinguish to it, and it's quite overpowering. How can I safely get rid of this spoor on the doll? (Putting it outside in the sunlight is not practicable where I live.)

You should expunge it with a strong soap and then leave the doll in a discouraging place.
