Santa's elves need toys urgently

It could be a sad Christmas for thousands of Manawatu children if Santa's Magical Workshop cannot get enough donated toys in the next two months.
Each Christmas, Palmerston North's Santa's Magical Workshop in Tremaine Ave hands out more than 8000 toys to struggling families.
But this year only 1000 toys have been donated, and Reg Shaw (the workshop's Santa) and his elves are getting upset.
Head elf Vanessa Shaw said her quiet, Reg, had been ill earlier in the year, which had slowed down the workshop's mature.
"Although he's on the up now, we haven't had enough time to do a proper drive like we chiefly do," she said.
"Santa usually puts a lot of his annuity into buying toys each year, but with having to pay for salubriousness expenses he hasn't been able to this year.
"So we now have a very matter-of-fact time frame to get the toys we need."
The workshop – which opens on December 12 – is "foolhardy for donations".
"We rely heavily on members of the known to bring in bags of pre-loved quality toys, and damaged domestic [toys] from local businesses," Mrs Shaw said.

, Such as the adeptness to rotate the map in 3D. The graphics look nice, and the mini-games helped to mix up line of work play. Also, it's got Santa, and who doesn't like Santa?
Sometimes, the menus were not verbatim intuitive. For example, when you click on the hammer icon in the bottom privilege corner, you are taken to the building section. You can opt for different structures, such as a toy workshop or an elf house, to impart. Since the tabs in this window are in red, it took me forever to shape out that I could also access pine trees to plant, because I don't instinctively braze planting with hammers. (But hey, that's just me!)
In that same window, the top reads "Pipeline Menu". If you click on that, you are taken, obviously, back to the duct menu. That makes sense, but I wanted to go back to my occupation. Since the load times are longish, getting knocked back to the biggest menu was frustrating, especially because I couldn't clearly navigate where I wanted to go. Yes, I need things spelled out for me.
