My daughter recently devastated her eighth tooth. Yes, I realize she’s a bit of a one-off being 6 ½ and losing her eighth tooth. She makes some kids appear pretty freakish because they haven’t lost any yet. But yes, my daughter is a steep girl with big teeth. Two teeth ago, my daughter came domestic from school one day expressing with excitement that her friend had gotten a toy from the Tooth Fairy, not well off! How exciting—a toy instead of money!
Now, before I at, I will admit wholeheartedly (and perhaps with a touch of embarrassment) that I do not dream up quickly on my feet when it comes to making up “chalky lies.” I am intuitive if my life is threatened, but being faked to come up with an explanation as to why Santa is taking photos on Christmas Eve when he is hypothetical to be delivering presents, … well, a mish mash control of unintelligible mutterings will stumble out of my mouth. It isn’t beautiful. I have learned that the best thing to do is to right-minded let my daughter come up with the intelligent explanation … and she mostly does.
