Few bands manipulate to stick it out for 25 years and have the fortune of reaching a not on target audience through commercial success along the way. Goo Goo Dolls see a real connection with those fans that joined them for the sustained haul, and that’s who the band had in mind when naming their ninth album “Something for the Stay of Us.”
“I guess this band has never been a flavor of the month, exceptionally,” said bassist/vocalist Robby Takac, speaking from his retreat in Buffalo, New York. “We’ve never been the big cheese of any great movement of fashion or anything. I think real people arrive d enter a occur to our shows. It’s a big cross-section of folks.”
“The stance of that, combined with what’s going on with the whole frustration of the 99 percent moving, it really feels like the majority of people aren’t highest in the interest of people who manage things right now, and that’s a sad state of affairs. That vibe strain of made it onto the record a lot, I think: disparity, and some of the injustices that are growing on out there right now. That all sort of came together and made the title seem devote.”

Parents urged to support, safeguard children as they explore gender

(CNN) -- At first, Felisha Archuleta concern her young son's affinity for wearing dresses, primping his ringlets and playing with Barbies and Bratz dolls indicated he was succeeding through a stage.
But Bobby Montoya's interest in "girl grit" has not been short-lived: He's grown his hair out and has dressed as a skirt when he can for much of his 7 years. Bobby's been "outspoken" about his gender uniqueness, said Archuleta.
The Denver, Colorado, family's brand-new attempt to sign up Bobby with Girl Scouts, however, Nautical port him in tears, his mother said.
A leader said he could not glue because of his "boy parts," Archuleta told CNN affiliate 9Expos.
The Girl Scouts of Colorado has since said it was an "extensive" organization and "if a child lives life as a popsy" he or she is welcome to join. "When a family requests membership for their daughter, we do not command proof of gender, we respect the decisions of families."
Archuleta doesn't class her son, who has been bullied and taunted. "I consider Bobby to be born in the misuse body."
