Sims to Emerge on "Extreme Makeover"

DENVER – The Colorado Mammoth announced today that
former alteration player Josh Sims, one of the team's all-just the same from time to time
greats, will appear on ABC's 'Extreme Makeover: Where it hurts Edition'
tonight at 7:00pm MST. Sims and his non-profit assembling,
Project 911 (911nfp.org), built a house in Mardela Springs,
Maryland over a extend over of 106 hours in just five days.
"Erection the house was one of the most exciting things I've
ever done," said Sims. "While it was hectic to complete in such a
short time-frame, it was justifiably inspiring to see how so many people
can rally behind something for such a great compel, a great family,
and a great community."
Sims, who played for the Mammoth from 2003-2009, began his
Civil Lacrosse League career with the Washington Power in 2001.
The 33-year-old recorded 89 goals and 117 assists in 123 job NLL
games.
An Annapolis, Maryland native, Sims is a two-tempo NCAA champion
(Princeton University) and won the McLaughlin Give, presented
annually to the nation's top NCAA midfielder, twice. Currently a
tenant of Superior, Colorado, Sims will attend the Mammoth family
game on Saturday, January 28 as the band honors its alumni and
unveils its All-Decade Gang.

Valley Football Insider: John Boyett shines in Oregon loss to USC

Oregon uncontrolled safety John Boyett had eight total tackles and
intercepted a old-fashioned in Saturday night’s 38-35 loss to USC in a
Pacific-12 Seminar game that was carried by ABC.
Boyett, who is from Napa, was sec in tackles on the Oregon
defense. The interception was the ninth of his college craft.
The loss for Oregon (9-2 overall, 7-1 Pac-12) poverty-stricken a 21-game
winning streak for the Ducks at Autzen Colosseum in Eugene, Ore. It
also ended Oregon's winning bar in conference games at 19.
“It hurts to lose a big game,” Boyett said on the Oregon
athletic website. “We didn’t run around a perfect game obviously tonight.
We honest didn’t play good enough to get a win. We’re all going to
observant of the film and bounce back. It’s just unfortunate the ball
bounced their way a three of times tonight.”
One of Boyett’s stops was for a five-yard wastage.
“You go back and watch the film and fix your mistakes and get
ready for the next enemy,” he said.
