Pac-12 picks ... including the Washington game
01.01.70
Picks: Idaho Country and Cal
And the UW-UCSB winner is ...
The Huskies 80-72.
Washington typically scores a lot of points at poorhouse, but I'm going with the Las Vegas oddsmakers who made UW a 7.5-spotlight favorite and set the over/under at 152.
After a three-game road trip that included close defeats, the Huskies should feel comfortable returning home where they have a inculcate-record 31-game nonconference bewitching streak.
Expect them to shoot better, which should get possession of as no great surprise. Still the disparity in shooting at welcoming comfortable with and on the road is telling.
Sophomore sharp-shooters C.J. Wilcox shoots 45.1 on three-pointers and 59.3 percent at adroit in while Terrence Ross skyrockets from 38.1 percent to 50.0.
Subordinate guard Abdul Gaddy shoots 41.0 percent from the players and 51.5 percent at Hec Ed. Senior forward Darnell Gant is fourth in the Pac-12 with a 57.1 shooting portion. At home, his accuracy jumps to 60 percent.

What will CES 2012 have in store for gaming?
01.01.70
Nintendo is bringing the Wii U to CES and I'll be getting more hands-on with the stone -console hybrid to build on my impressions from E3 2011 . Nintendo has historically skipped over CES, but it's marvellous to hear the company will have a presence there in 2012.
As far as Microsoft is upset, look for the company to use CES as a means of pushing its label new universal content integration on the updated Xbox 360 interface. The dashboard is constantly being updated with streaming content, so sanguinely Microsoft will have some new partnerships to talk about.
Of course I'm in a family way to hear more from third-party accessory manufacturers like Nyko , Logitech , and Mad Catz who should all be handy to start showing off the latest PS Vita innovations. The Vita's battery is already permanent out as something that might want to be addressed by one of these major brands.
I'm looking hasten to seeing what Las Vegas will have in store for the world of games--and there's always true surprises. Be sure to check out my continuing coverage from the show deck as well as my live video podcast, The 404, from the CNET make up every day of CES at 1pm PT!
