What are some tips for doing a 1000 piece puzzle? my first one. details inside.?
so last evening i did a 100 piece puzzle and i wanted more of a challenege so i went and bought a 1000 gather puzzle. im looking at the pieces and im completely overwhelmed. a few tips would be greatly apreciated. i am doing a 1000 sketch Ravensburger Puzzle of Mona Lisa. thank you.
Whenever I start on a puzzle this broad, I always go through the entire box and get all the edge pieces. They're always the easist to besmirch. While I'm sorting through, I usually find a few pieces that are already put together (large only two pieces that just weren't split apart). I go ahead and arrive these out, too, and set them to the side. As I'm looking at all these pieces, I start to cognizance pieces that look the same (i.e. flowers, sky, wood, trees, etc.). After I variety through everything to get the edge pieces, I put all that together. Then, I try to start working from the shell in. For example, if I'm doing a puzzle of a barn with flowers, trees, and the sky, I might start on the sky first because I've already got the case section that has the sky on it finished. So, go back to your box and pull out the sky pieces. It unquestionably sounds like a long prepare, but I've been doing it this way for a long time, and I've found it to be the most particular as opposed to just pushing the pieces around hoping to find what you lack.
