San Miguel Scene: It's potluck time at the center

Saturday at 8 p.m., the Symphony of the Vines, under the guidance of Greg Magee, will present Bach in the Occupation. The program includes baroque masterpieces by Bach, Handel and Vivaldi.

Dan Silva, a provincial of San Miguel, died Friday. He graduated from San Miguel Fundamental and Paso Robles High schools.
Dan and Sherrie Silva owned Dan Silva Construction and raised their relatives in Estrella. A memorial service will be held at the J&J Cellars As it Center at 2850 Ranchita Canyon Method east of San Miguel. Farewell old friend.
Those who care to honor the memory of Fred Thacker may vouchsafe to the Pleasant Valley Community Foundation. Fred attended Palatable Valley elementary school and was a charter associate of the foundation, which was formed to preserve the original Charming Valley school building.

Crime scene cleanup business 'is not a job for everyone'

New York (CNN) -- Ron Gospodarski remembered the bloody details: The victim was beaten to death, perhaps with a baseball bat. There was blood bespatter everywhere. "A very bloody scene," he recalled.
Gospodarski wasn't the intimation detective trying to solve a homicide, nor was he a forensic investigator looking for thorough evidence.
He was there to clean it up.
By his count, Gospodarski has handled thousands of lawlessness scene cleanups across the New York City area over the career 15 years. "Probably six to 10 jobs a week," he said. From stabbings and suicides to one-off accidents and multiple murders, he has seen it all.
Gospodarski's rule of work is unique and not for the faint of heart. His companionship, Bio-Recovery Corp., specializes in crime-scene and biohazard spill the beans-ups, a cottage industry that goes to work after the majority is gone. "You see the blood stains, the gloves that the EMS threw on the drub," he told CNN, "the police put up this crime scene tape, nobody can disappoint a amount to in here. And then they just walk away from it."
